Former CaseCentral Executive To Lead DNF’s Operations Expansion

Hayward, Ca. — July 18, 2006— Dynamic Network Factory, Inc., (DNF), a leading maker of high-performance network attached storage, storage area networks (SANs), RAID and iSCSI systems, today announced that technology industry veteran Nasser Mirzai has been appointed chief operating officer (COO). With 26 years of both private and public sector experience, Mirzai will oversee operations as DNF broadens its product offerings and expands into new geographic markets.
Mirzai comes to DNF from CaseCentral, a San Francisco-based provider of electronic discovery and litigation management solutions for major law firms and corporations. As a key member of the executive management team at CaseCentral, he led strategies for next-generation product architectures and was responsible for setting information management initiatives and direction for the company. Mirzai also held multiple senior management positions over six years in IT at Solectron Corp., a global provider of electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and integrated supply chain solutions with over 50,000 employees.
In his new role, Mirzai reports to Mo Tahmasebi, president and CEO of DNF. He will oversee operations at DNF’s new bay-front headquarters in Hayward, as well as at another Hayward facility the company occupies, and at StoneFly, Inc., DNF’s San Diego IP SAN subsidiary.
“Nasser is a strategic thinker with outstanding capabilities in leading development, operations and support teams,” said Tahmasebi. “He has been instrumental in providing fast-growth technology companies such as DNF with extraordinary ramp up capabilities and overall operational efficiency, and is a welcome addition to our executive team.”
Mirzai began his career in system test engineering working on early home computer systems. In 1984, he joined a small medical instrumentation company, and by 1988, he had assumed an engineering management position within Abbott Laboratories, where he set up international service and support groups in 15 different countries. In 1995, Mirzai joined Etec, a semiconductor start-up where his efforts helped with the company’s IPO and eventual acquisition by Applied Material Systems.

“I’m pleased to be joining DNF during this period of rapid growth, knowing that my years of experience will allow me to have an immediate impact,” said Mirzai. “I look forward to leading operations as DNF enters new markets while continuing to build upon its tradition of high-performance, value-driven products.”

Earlier this year, DNF announced its acquisition of StoneFly Networks, a pioneer in the development of IP SANs and active participant in the advancement of the iSCSI standard that enabled SANs to be deployed using low-cost Ethernet. StoneFly established the web site, www.iSCSI.com, to serve as a resource for those interested in the technology.
